SprintTimer - Photo Finish App Reviews

Wonderful app! I use it for short-track speed skating and its amazing.

Fantastic app, and to think I had originally considered an option which required laptop, camera, software, etc... This is going to make race day a lot simpler.

This is a very well thought out App. It does what it was designed to do and does it very well. The user interface is straight forward and easy to follow.

As a phys Ed teacher Sprint Timer has made my track unit a breeze. It solves the closest races to 1/100 of a second. Finish line form can also be reviewed. It sure makes running a small track meet easy. I just havent found a simpler way of recording times other than reviewing races and manually recording in a separate teaching app. This app is a must and well worth the cost.

I quite like the app and I use it for speed skating training regularly. I just wish you could mark saved videos.

I am using this at an international track meet. It works great and the sprint starter is wonderful also. A few little tweaks would make it almost perfect. When marking the runners for times the scroll part sometimes is confusing. It needs a set mark button not just release.

With the quality of additions and refinements that Sten continues to make, Id be only spoiled for Apple to produce a fifteen inch viewing iPad! Im simply enjoying the features and has made our work here much easier as well! Continuing to get outstanding results from Mr. Kaisers speed & power applications. The toolbox is in fine shape!

This is a very cool application, especially if you active. Neat tool to encourage runners to push a little harder at the end (more bragging rights)

I love this app. I actually attached a wireless mic to my iPad and made this app fully automatic. This makes it more functional and takes out human error. The new edition to 20 sec recording was a GREAT improvement! Keep up the good work.

It would make using the results easier and faster if the marks made on the picture could be automatically send to a list of written results. Great idea.

This App made a HUGE difference during our Track meet, especially the video finish in the 4x400m which was a .10 difference between 1st and 2nd. Some issues with the photo finish though, some of the athletes disappeared and I could only see their back foot. Great App.

I got this app for timing dragon boat races. Testing the video finish on car traffic yielded very positive results! Unfortunately, when it came to using it on race day, the timer never worked. The motion detector never detected the boats crossing the red line. I tried playing with the sensitivity level but couldnt get it dialed in. Hopefully, any future updates will make this easier. That, and the timer needs to measure 1/100ths too.
